 As an AI Ethicist working with Australian businesses, I’ve seen it all: teams buzzing with excitement, others frozen in fear and some completely unaware that AI in the workplace is already shaping their daily routines.
The truth is: AI in the workplace isn’t a future scenario. It’s happening now, often quietly and without clear oversight.  As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more entrenched in our lives, discussions of its ethical implications have become more important than ever.

Given how revolutionary and powerful this technology is, we’ve all (kind of) known that there is a pressing need for a little guidance around how we implement it ethically into our organisations. As a result, I’ve been advocating for businesses to have bespoke AI policies around responsible commercial AI use for a few years now.  AI is abundantly everywhere.
